Premiered at The Substation in September 2008. This performance is based on a story of a woman and her relationship with her mother exploring her roots from Malacca to Singapore. Conceptualised and performed by Elizabeth de Roza with collaborator/director Alvin Tan, it is developed from an original text by Cyril Wong.
A draft version of this work was performed in January 2008 at the Magdalena Sin Fronteras theatre festival in Cuba. A reworked version with the addition of a second performer Sharda Harrison and again in collaboration with Alvin Tan, was presented at the Transit Festival at Odin Teatret in Denmark in 2009.
